6Degrees has developed an adaptive, motion-based, learning algorithm implemented within a hands-free controller that connects to all operating systems and simulates a finger on a touchscreen, joystick or mouse. Our device was developed, initially for the disability/assistive market. The unique algorithm learns and adapts to the user while taking into account changes in user motion allows implementation of an advanced set of commands. The core technology reads spatial motion and analyses intent. This unique experience gives our user the freedom and ease to interact with technology. Applications
Our technology can be implemented within a variety of fields as it creates individual motion based commands. We will target three main markets phase by phase: Assistive technology - our first target market is the 300 million individuals worldwide who have lost full usage of their hands, such as people with amputations, Parkinson’s disease and paralysis due to stroke. We will replace the use of a finger on a touchscreen, joystick or mouse. Medical - motion based hands free controller for doctors in an operation environment, such as a Cath lab. Doctors will control monitors without need of taking their hands off of the operating equipment or relaying requests to second person. Military - hands free drone control
