About

PSM (Plastarch Material) is a bio- based or fully compostable thermoplastic resin made from corn starch and other proprietary natural modifier ingredients. Proprietary process is used. PSM has a very unique high-heat resistant properties. PSM resins can be used in injection molding, sheet extrusion, thermoforming, film blowing, blow molding etc. This resin can be run on existing thermoforming or injection molding process often without the need to repalletize or compounding. PSM process reduces CO2 emission significantly- 0.5tons CO2 per ton of PSM vs. 3.13 tons per tons of fossil polymers. Many applications : food packaging , utensils, personal care items, plastic bags, construction tubing, films, construction stakes, horticulture planters , bags and many more.
