Challenge
Twinings are currently looking for innovators/experts who have technologies and developments in tea textures. They would like to explore if there are dissolvable gums, texturisers, additions they could use that would permeate through the bag and create a juicy texture in the cold water infused tea bag applications & a thicker mouthfeel in some of our hot blends.
Solutions must aim to cover the below criteria:
- Dissolvable gums
- Clean label gum/starches texturisers technology
- The right particle size to permeate through the different tea bag tissues to create texture without clogging/clagging in the back over life.
- A fuller, stronger mouth feel as opposed to gummy texture
