Background
Tarmac, a CRH company, is the UK’s leading sustainable building materials and construction solutions business. Their innovative services and solutions help to deliver the infrastructure needed to grow the economy today and create a more sustainable built environment to support their future prosperity.
In 2018, Tarmac held their first Innovation Forum which generated hundreds of great ideas. The variety of different initiatives showed the exceptional knowledge and experience of their current and prospective supply chain partners. This time they want to use those skills to focus on one very important area – their journey to net-zero carbon.
Challenge
This Network is the official shortlist for the Net Zero Challenge Event. The shortlisting process will conclude on the 13th of March 2020 and all successful applicants will be invited to join the event held on the 26th of March 2020.
What's in it for you?
Tarmac will review the entries and invite the companies with the best ideas to join them at their Net Zero Challenge event held on the 26th of March 2020.
The aim of this event is to bring together the top ideas for their sector to pitch to Tarmac's senior business leaders and decision makers, whilst offering up an opportunity to share and develop ideas with other successful innovators.
Finalists will present to a panel of judges, who will then decide an overall winner who Tarmac will work with to develop the ideas further.
All ideas will be considered for their pipeline and an opportunity to collaborate not just within Tarmac but internationally across the wider CRH group.
