Summary

Background

Challenge

The method should be suitable to measure and monitor the thickness and width of multiple strands of PP or PET plastic strap produced using an extrusion die at high speeds. The strap material may have a smooth, textured or embossed surface.

Measurement data needs to be available to a data capture system, local or networked for collation and analysis.
