Marks and Spencer (M&S) is a leading British retailer bringing quality, great value food to millions of customers around the world. Our food is known for its quality, freshness and innovation credentials.

M&S don’t own any food factories however work closely with over 600 supplier partners around the world to deliver our own-label products to our own specifications from farm to fork for our customers.

Challenge

Marks and Spencer (M&S) are looking for innovative methods of measuring quality within the food manufacturing area. Innovations can include methods or innovative solutions to assess the quality of raw materials, products on a production line or at the end of line processes, with the aim to reduce rejections. Solutions should also aim to reduce human error and not be reliant on individual human opinion.
