Background

Marks and Spencer (M&S) is a leading British retailer bringing quality, great value food to millions of customers around the world. Our food is known for its quality, freshness and innovation credentials.

M&S don’t own any food factories however work closely with over 600 supplier partners around the world to deliver our own-label products to our own specifications from farm to fork for our customers.

Challenge

Marks and Spencer (M&S) are looking for innovative methods of monitoring, measuring or improving the quality food products. Innovations can include methods or innovative solutions to assess or improve the quality of food products at any point in the supply chain.

Solutions could include:

  • Vision Systems
  • Ingredients or Processes that improve product quality through their shelf-life – Chilled, Ambient or Frozen
  • Methods of carrying out quality assessments inc remote reviews
  • Instore solutions
  • Methods to deliver and/or measure consistency of products to specifications

    We are accepting solutions that may not currently be within the food sector.
