Marks and Spencer (M&S) is a leading British retailer bringing quality, great value food to millions of customers around the world. Our food is known for its quality, freshness and innovation credentials.

M&S don’t own any food factories however work closely with over 600 supplier partners around the world to deliver our own-label products to our own specifications from farm to fork for our customers.

Challenge

Marks and Spencer (M&S) are looking for innovative ripening or produce storage systems that can sense and consistently measure key parameters (e.g. maturity) and then be able to alter ripening or storage to achieve high quality consistent ripe and ready to eat produce.
