Summary

Background

Multinational, large, oil and gas producer looking for solutions for detecting multiphase flow in pipelines.

Challenge

Most multiphase meters are very expensive and have limited accuracy across a wide band of gas/liquid composition.

We are looking for technologies that perform better than existing incumbent technologies or have the potential to perform better (i.e. not commercial yet).

Our pipelines typically carry a composition of gas, oil and water. We are interested in technologies that can detect and quantify the amount of gas, oil and water in real time, and across a wide array of compositions. Being able to detect other liquids (i.e. solvent) will also be of interest.

What's in it for you?

Commercial technologies could be tested and validated at our testing facilities, with results able to be shared outside of our organization.

For earlier stage technologies, a successful collaboration could mean a potential partnership to co-develop the technology or support from our organization to bring your product to the market.

We are willing to collaborate with both individuals/freelancers and other industry participants/universities etc. and solutions can be at any stage of development.
