Background
Klabin is leader in Brazil in the production of paperboard, corrugated packaging and industrial bags. It also provides the market with the best solution in hardwood, softwood and fluff pulp. We are looking for new applications on biorrefinery and new uses for biomaterials from our certified forests, as lignina, microfibrillated cellulose (MFC) and cellulose nanocrystals (CNC).

Challenge
Klabin are looking for innovators/experts in the area of Cellulose Nanocrystals (CNC), they are open to all applicants despite of the industry. Klabin want amplify routes to work with CNC, creating new roads to incorporate CNC in end products.
They are looking for global and diverse partners open to collaboration!
They are not looking for new ways to produce CNC.
What's in it for you?
We must definitely engage a proof of concept with any innovator that matches our search. Other strategic following these proof of concept projects are joint developments and other types of partnership (JV, for instance). Each case will be discussed separately.
These are global challenges and Klabin is willing to collaborate with both individuals/freelancers and other industry participants/universities etc. and solutions can be at any stage of development.
