Background

Value Retail is the only business to specialise exclusively in the creation and operation of luxury shopping destinations as a complementary channel to brands’ full price offer. Through its flagship retail experiences, we reflect the brands’ values and positioning, creating new opportunities for discerning customer acquisition.

The 11 Villages are spacious, open-air pedestrianised streets with a curated selection of the world’s leading brands. Each of Villages are located within reach of the most important gateway cities:

Challenge

Currently Value Retail's Gift Card offering is available across all 9 Villages in Europe via the 9 Village websites or Concierge in the Village and payment of the gift card to be done electronically.

Value Retail are looking for solutions to simplify and digitalise their gift card processes. More broadly they are looking for new ways that a customer can purchase and they can issue a pre-paid method of payment in a B2B or B2C exchange.

They are looking for solutions that offer the following:

  • Physical/Digital Cards available for purchase online and offline
  • Instant activation with immediate use after purchase
  • Remote activation: activation not location or timing specific
  • Ability to save to digital smartphone wallet for mobile payment
  • Card Personalisation
  • Gifting Personalisation featuring box/wrapping: personalised printed or written note / suggest which brand/product to spend the card
  • Contactless payment
  • Gift Cards can be used across the Collection
  • Corporate Gift Card Partnership
  • eGift Card integration into CRM system / programme
  • Automated/simpler process via Fulfilment Centre [FC] to manage online orders to minimise manual intervention
  • Corporate sales managed through FC
  • Digitally issue these ‘gift cards’ to B2B Partnership delivered guests
