Research and Development Associate, Heliguy
I have an extensive knowledge in building and maintaining unmanned aerial vehicles as well as integrating custom payloads such as Lidar, Communications equipment, and cameras.
My background is in concept to market product development where I would take a client's idea, design and build the functional prototype, develop the product for mass production and longevity, and design the route to market. I have a deep understanding of electronics, mechanical engineering, integrated software (language of C), Windows and Linux based software design (languages of C#, C++, Python, and Java), as well as the research and development process. I have been flying unmanned aircraft for many years, participating in the racing industry to begin with which developed into now working in the research and development department at Heliguy. In my current role, I work primarily work with DJI equipment and have completed dozens of sensor and custom technology integrations onto drones.
