I worked in continuous improvement, operations management and logistics in the last 15 years. I led multiple continuous improvement projects in various manufacturing fields (automotive, agricultural, wood manufacturing) by designing continuous improvement project frameworks and actively participating in managing and overseeing the implementation of the projects' key performance indicators. The projects frameworks designed using the DMAIC and IDOV methodologies and their aim is to design and continuously improve some of the operational processes of companies.Ultimately, their focus is on gaining competitive advantage by implementing dynamic capabilities in a company. I currently work in digitalisation of operations, demand forecasting and Internet of things implementation in the Petcare industry. I am also in charge in rolling a Supply Excellence programme. The aim of this programme is to bring the factory closer to the customer and to make the company the preferred customer's choice with the lowest manufacturing conversion cost. I am dealing with a variety of stakeholders from factory and warehouse shop-floor operators to board of directors. Some of my findings about how dynamic capabilities in operation can boost a company's competitive advantage were published in reputed academic journals such as the International Journal of Operations & Production Management.
