Since 2009 Rob has been bringing teams together into the Digital Innovation Group (DIG), which is a leading independent communications and Technology Group. The DIG teams are behind numerous cutting-edge solutions including innovating around the infant Sky digital TV platform in 1999; creating the original mobile smartphone prototypes for Orange in 2000; developing the worlds seminal buzz charting technology for the BBC Sound Index in 2007; right through to developing the original prototype for YouView and the Intelligent TV & TiVo services for Virgin Media, which transformed their businesses. His teams have also been ahead of the changing media industry and were one of the first companies in Europe adopting programmatic advertising in 2011 and have been involved in numerous major viral & social initiatives such as Agent Provocateurs Kate Moss campaigns, the global Ace Rafa campaign and the Evian ‘Baby and Me’ campaign which was the biggest social advertisement of 2013. More recently the teams have been putting in robust digital programmes and marketing automation into organisations, combining the expertise in optimising technology and new communication channels to reach, engage & nurture audiences efficiently.
