Janet is a brave, bold, and serial entrepreneur, who, since exiting a highly successful global corporate career in the Australian retail industry, has creatively re-invented herself to become acknowledged as a pioneering thought leader on the people side of innovation. She founded ImagineNation™ as an Israeli start-up in 2010 and now leads a learning and consulting collective, in Melbourne, Australia. Where she partners with organisations, leaders, teams, and coaches, to help them become future ft in a constantly changing and uncertain world. Through teaching, mentoring, coaching, and facilitating bespoke deep learning programs that enable, equip, and empowers them to change, adapt, innovate, and grow through disruption. Janet is acknowledged as a global thought leader on the people side of innovation, where she teaches, trains and coaches’ people and teams to step over their business-as-usual thresholds, and open them up to a new world of conscious, creative and commercial possibilities. She has 33 years of experience consulting and leading culture development, change management, leadership and innovation education interventions to some of Australasia’s and Israel’s top 100 companies. She adapts and applies her global experience in consulting, culture development, change management, leadership and top team development, innovation education and coaching interventions, to her current work in innovation, entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship. Where she co-creates with clients speedy, agile and blended ways that help people and teams adapt and grow through applying the transformational powers of emergence, innovation, lean start-up methodologies and human-centred design thinking. Prior to launching her consulting, training and coaching career she was Fashion Direction and Marketing Development Manager for Grace Bros’ department stores, now part of the Myer Group. She then launched Australia’s first design management consultancy and worked with some of the world’s leading fashion and lifestyle brands including Chanel, Oroton and Seafolly to improve their business performance through developing marketing, business and quality management strategies and plans. Realising that some of the best laid plans often end up in the “bottom drawer” she became an implementation specialist focusing on the “how-to’s” of transformative change through creativity, invention and innovation. She has tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Adult Learning, and Workplace Assessment and Training and is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and is a Professionally Certified Coach for Innovators and accredited Mbit coach. She presents free monthly Making Innovation a Habit webinars globally; blogs regularly and is acknowledged as one the top 40 innovation bloggers globally. She also presents an online ICF CCE Coach for Innovators Certified Program globally and is a sought-out speaker at global conferences on innovation coaching, culture and leadership. In 2010 she moved to the Middle East and joined the Start-Up Revolution and now lives in lovely Bayside Melbourne, Australia. She is an experienced business and coaching mentor to both women in business, to Executive MBA students at RMIT Graduate School of Business and Law, Melbourne as well as to high school students through Jewish Care Victoria.
