About

A Multi-function, Multi-purpose RF Ablation Catheter Applications: This invention aims at minimizing the number of steps required during intra-cardiac radio-frequency ablation, thereby reducing risk and complications. Current procedures require several exchanges of devices in and out of the vascular system, which requires time but also exposes the patient to risks such as vascular injury and introduction of air into the circulatory system. Advantages: This novel device system would save crucial time, expense and potential complications. It would help significantly reduce the number of steps, the need for extended periods of fluoroscopy and exchanges of multiple devices in and out of the vascular system.
