10Power provides project development and finance for commercial-scale solar and energy storage projects with a gender empowerment lens in markets with high energy poverty.

About

10Power provides renewable energy access for livelihood improvement in frontier markets. In our first market, Haiti, we are working with local installers with a gender empowerment lens to develop, finance, install, operate and maintain solar projects. Our flagship project on UNICEF Haiti is the largest solar installation with energy storage on any UNICEF base in the world to date. We recently completed a solar powered water desalination project that is now providing clean drinking water for 40,000 people.

Key Benefits

Applications

All businesses in geographies where energy is unstable have an unmet need for reliable, affordable electricity. In Haiti, almost all businesses are relying on diesel generators which are expensive, polluting and are susceptible to gas shortages and price shocks. 10Power reduces dependency on diesel generators with solar and energy storage and sources financing for projects so that customers can for their installations month over month at a price that is equal to or less than what they are currently spending on diesel and generator maintenance. 10Power supports businesses in all vertical, the firm is currently working with healthcare facilities in Haiti handling the country's frontline COVID response, assisting with transitioning to reliable, renewable power.
