Motion Correction in 3D Imaging Inadequate motion quantification is a problem that currently limits the growth of commercial time-of-flight imaging technologies. The Motion Blur technique is a firmware solution that quantifies the speed and direction of moving objects with one specialised range image acquisition. Implementation of this technique will enable simultaneous motion detection for multiple objects in a scene, with a high level of measurement accuracy. The solution also corrects motion-related errors in real time, facilitating the subsequent utilisation of crisp, corrected representations of moving objects.   Applications The motion correction technique is expected to enhance the accuracy of motion quantification in the following range imaging applications: Gesture control for consumer electronics and gaming devices.
