KW Special Projects are a systems engineering solution provider that specialise in design, pre-production development and commissioning of new digitally controlled additive manufacturing (‘3D Printing’) and automation solutions. Our systems are bespoke, and designed around the specific requirements of the industry and/or client. Our capabilities position us to provide digital solutions to traditional construction processes, including the following applications: Concrete Laying: Robot-guided deposition of concrete for both foundations and building structures, available as an attachment to construction machinery. Metal Fabrication: Robot-guided ‘additive’ manufacture of metal structures, in place of restrictive and time-consuming traditional metal framework assembly. Available as an attachment to construction machinery. Decorative & Protective Coatings: Automated coating systems to remove inconsistency and labour intensity associated with manual processes. Applicable to both protective coatings of metal structures and interior & exterior decorative finishes. Available as an attachment to construction machinery, or through UAV/Drone platforms. Airborne Inspection, Imaging & Scanning: UAV/Drone-based 3D imaging and scanning systems to allow for flexible and efficient site inspection and structure measurement/imaging. As a developer of innovative, typically first-of-kind solutions, we would require an initial meeting understand requirements. We would provide a complementary initial requirements gathering workshop.
