Proppos has built a computer vision platform specialized on food recognition in order offer A.I. checkout solution to the Horeca and Retail industries. Proppos platform is an end to end tool that enables our partners and clients to manage all their different solutions. The main technical features of the platform is that enable: - to build Edge and Cloud computer vision pipelines - To use on single or multi cams pipelines - To combine different deep learning networks. - To manage the images dataset - to train and analyze the different deep learning and computer vision networks. A part from building new solutions specialized on food recognition, Also, the platform is used to create and mange the accounts of the clients. Applications

The Proppos food recognition technology is used for 4 different applications in the Horeca and retail industry: - Proppos Fastpay: an intelligent self-checkout that is able to recognize any kind of product. It's ideal for self-service restaurants, cafeterias and grab & go stores. It's able to scan all the products in the vision range in 0.3s so it offers a super fast shopping experience. - Proppos fresh: automatic fruit & vegetables identification at the checkout, SCO or scales. It enables the user or the cashier to be more efficient. - Proppos Picking: it's a control application for Quick service restaurants. It uses computer vision to control that all all the products of an order are already prepared and there are no missing ones. - Fraud detection for self-checkouts and manual tills: This product is still under development but it will be ready on June for a trial. Thanks to computer vision we can detect different fraud situations: 1) when a product is not scanned, 2) label switching, 3) product remaining in the shopping cart.
