Aclymate connects to small business data to find and fix their footprint, offset what they can't, and advertise and report their efforts to stakeholders across the value chain.

About

Aclymate is the only purpose-built climate management software built for small & medium sized businesses (SMBs) in the United States. As such, we're the only ones to help them with their main three problems: 1. We connect to existing data sources and build a behavioral profile of company behaviors to show SMBs where their emissions are coming from and how to reduce them. 2. We have an integrated offset marketplace that provides a leading selection of offset projects across North America and the world. 3. We help our customers demonstrate their work through integrated marketing and branding solution and reporting features that allow them to participate in corporate supply chains. Aclymate is also the only company founded by carbon market and climate policy experts. Both founders previously ran carbon offset project development companies and our CEO developed the largest carbon reforestation project in US history.

Key Benefits

1. We cut through the complexity of climate accounting to make it simple for the layperson. 2. Our software is free to use, so it allows companies to reduce their footprint before offsetting 3. Our offsets are directly integrated into the accounting, so companies can get carbon neutral in two clicks. 4. Our Climate Leader brand and the tools surrounding it help SMBs demonstrate to the Climate Generation that the work is getting done. 5. Our reporting allows SMBs to meet expectations for corporate supply chains.

Applications

We’re segmenting by size and industry. Size: - Small companies (fewer than 10 employees) are very easy to onboard and easy to sell offsets to. Though we don’t really make much money here, we’re able to get a lot of brand value here, as these companies are our biggest advocates right now. For example, Oliver Russel isn’t a very big branding agency, but they wrote a great article for B Corps best practices on climate that brought us a few large customers and that we didn’t ask for. Marketing led strategy here.. - Medium (10-50 employees)- Currently, a sales focused strategy that uses our new salesperson to target a more lucrative target segment. Our software works really well here – large enough to have a good sized footprint – but not so large that they’ve left QuickBooks. - Large (50-200 employees) – Very lucrative, but a little more demanding and our software isn’t a great fit yet because they’re usually a more complex organization. Doing mostly over-the-counter transactions here, but using the software to drive calculations and brand legitimacy. Industries: -Environmentally focused, such as outdoor recreation, renewable energy, and environmental services/remediation. These industries have strong needs for branding and typically have employees that are focused on the climate. Climate Generation focused consumables – We’ve seen big interest from brewers, food producers, and cannabis. B Corps, public benefit corporations, and other good business folks (1% for the Planet, etc). They’ve self-identified as this being something they want to do and we’re helping them meet their own identified objectives.
