About

Revolutionary adjustable focus reading glasses: Eyejusters are a single pair of glasses to replace all your reading glasses. Turn the dials to change the lens power. Eyejusters have two small dials tucked behind the frame to adjust the lenses for each eye independently. Our technical design enables us to fit the adjustable lenses into normal, stylish frames. Eyejusters lens units have been developed in-house and are manufactured at our own production facilities in the UK. The basis of our SlideLens™ technology is two specialised lenses, containing both positive and negative power areas. When these lenses are moved across each other their total power varies in strength, thus changing the focus point. Normal reading glasses (bought over the counter or from the opticians) only correct your vision at a set distance from your eyes. To change the in-focus zone, you need to switch glasses or buy expensive varifocals. This issue has become even more important with the increased use of digital devices, which all have a different ideal focus distance from the eyes. Eyejusters adjustable focus lenses allow you to move the in-focus zone at any time to the desired distance. You need only one pair for all activities! You can adjust the lens power from +0 to +3 Dioptres, covering the range of lens powers most commonly used in daily life. There are 4 styles available with an array of different colours to suit all. Eyejusters also manufacture self-adjustable glasses for developing countries. The WHO estimates that over 670 million people (10% of world population) are visually impaired, because they lack the glasses they need to see clearly. Due to a lack of trained eye care professionals, glasses are hard to obtain and unaffordable for the majority of the population. Self-adjustable glasses offer a straight-forward solution. Our technology does not require prescription-specific manufacturing and can be adjusted independently of an optometrist. This increases access to vision correction, whilst decreasing the cost of distribution.  Eyejusters will be available in two versions, for correcting both near and distance vision. In addition, self-adjustable glasses can be re-adjusted when a person's vision needs change over time. The glasses can also be shared, for example by family members or among craftsmen/women.  Clear vision empowers people to increase their own income and follow education. It also improves a person’s ability to engage socially and increases their personal safety and that of their families.
