This circuit breaker depends on pre charged capacitors to eliminate overcurrent and it can be used in both of AC and DC HV and MV networks. It uses multi-break technique and air as insulator instead of SF6. The main idea of this circuit breaker is when short circuit occurs and current grows up, it inserts another circuit contains bank of pre charged capacitors with opposite charges to the charges on the circuit breaker and this leads to zero voltage which leads to eliminate short circuit current and make it easily for circuit breaker to open the circuit quickly and without damage due to there is no arc generated.
