About
Earthly is a platform that helps drive investment into high-quality nature-based solutions that remove carbon, restore biodiversity and support local communities. Our focus is on profiling underrepresented and innovative NbS, whilst mapping out the wide spectrum of co-benefits related to projects. We then bring to life these project co-benefits through engaging data visualisation. We connect funding to a broad spectrum of NbS that can on one hand contribute to the estimated 11Gt annual drawdown potential NbS can offer, but also to those projects that can best protect, maintain and regenerate ecosystems. Our mission is to be the leading global marketplace for NbS and help businesses remove at least 1 Gigatonne of carbon exclusively via NbS by 2030. We are an experienced team of entrepreneurs, engineers & PhDs with experience in FMCG & retail, engineering & tech, science & research, startups & corporates, all brought together with a shared passion around both reversing climate breakdown & restoring our planet. We are working with some of the UK’s leading NbS scientists via our independent scientific board which sits at the heart of our project. We only work with projects that meet a minimum threshold with regards to carbon, biodiversity & social impacts and we are developing a ‘climate resilience’ score for NbS to make sure investment is channelled to those projects that are most likely to survive and thrive in our evolving weather conditions. We are proud to be a Social Enterprise and one of the UK’s highest certifying B Corps.
