The patent protected Antimicrobial and AntiBiofilm technology is a next generation antibiofilm and antimicrobial complex/composition that gained patent protection in the EU in August 2020. The antibiofilm complex/composition can be added into, or onto, medical devices including wound dressings. The ‘patent pending’ complex is smartly designed to deliver antimicrobial and anti-biofilm agents to a site that requires them and to smartly release agents that can be used to treat the medical condition i.e. inflammation that the biofilm causes.
