We enable breweries to lunch and manage their own cryptocurrency.
About
We have developed a platform that makes it easy for breweries to have their own cryptocurrency based on their own beer. Either a short code or a QR-code is attached to the bottle cap. This code can be scanned with our app and the corresponding amount of beer-crypto is send to the user’s wallet. This currency can be used to pay for a beer at a bar that is associated with the brewery or used in the included shop to order merchandise. (At a later point we will develop the option to make this brewery coin interchangeable with different crypto like Bitcoin, Ether Dogecoin and the like.) The app comes further equipped with map functions. This map can be used to either find the nearest associated bar, for gamification (Pokémon Go for beer) or to promote brewery related events. The currency can be sent between different users and can be send as gift or to motivate a friend to meet up at a specific bar (as he now owns the needed amount for his first beer).
Key Benefits
Our app is developed as a PWA so it allows the user to instantly start collecting the brewery coins without the prior need to download an application from an app store. This design further allows us to adapt the front side of the app to correspond with the marketing massage to the specific beer. As we are using the Ethereum Blockchain we can instantly create an account for the user as soon as he opens the PWA and he is not forced to go through a sing up process prior to using the app. After he starts collecting the brewery coins he can decide to link up his wallet with an email account, his social media or to download the key.
Applications
We currently are only speaking with smaller German breweries but are open for international breweries that would like to try something new. We currently only have website in German and the presentation for a German brewery we a currently pitching the idea to is also German.
