This curriculum supports early educators in acquiring the knowledge and skills to implement effective and inclusive early learning practices and environments. Every child is exceptional and can benefit when inclusion forms the foundation for early learning programs. Early Childhood Inclusion: Every Child Belongs is a 15-hour course that blends evidence-based practice from early childhood education with early childhood special education. Learn the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to meet the needs of all children across a range of abilities. Early childhood professionals will receive resources that will work in classroom communities to benefit every child. In the past decade, we have become more aware of the importance of early childhood inclusion. Early childhood inclusion means that care of and support for children of all abilities takes place in everyday routines, activities, and places. Inclusive early childhood programs embed support services needed within the routines of these settings. Young children are not only present, but participate as active members with their peers.
