CARBONCAPT process implies chemical absorption of CO2 by highly selective amine-based solvent and executed in three principal stages: 1. First stage – COOLING of flue gases by water, 2. Second stage - ABSORBING of CO2 by amine-based highly selective absorbing solvent, 3. Third stage – DESORBING of CO2 from the absorbing solvent. The captured and liquefied CO2 could be effectively reused for concrete recarbonation, methanol production and others.
