Description: FSU researchers have devised a robust method to measure the temporal order of replication of all chromosome segments in a cell. The proposed invention includes: 1) an algorithm and procedure to use data to find the unique features of cells that identify them as a particular cell type and 2) a means to translate the knowledge gained from Repliprint to standard existing PCR methodology to create a simple kit-like assay for cell identification.
