CRE are the initials for ”Centric Reciprocating Engine”, which is an internal combustion engine, where a pair of two rotors move uniformly and are related to one another.

About

The Prototype (CRE X1) is built as an approx. 200 HP (149 kW) suction engine with a respired volume of 1.15 litres (0.304 US Gal), corresponding to 2.3 litre (0.61 US Gal) stroke volume of an 8 cylinders 4 stroke piston engine. Typical it has a circular shape with a diameter of 320 mm (13 inches) and a length of 570 mm (22.4 inches), also including the coupling to the brake on the test bench. The engine is built in a ”solid state”, having a coherent body containing the Process Unit and the Control Unit. The prototype is rather well proportioned as a result of the parts being machined out of solid blocks, where no special respect to the weight of stationary parts has been taken by its whole design. Still the weight is only approximately 68 kilo,(150 lbs). The CRE Engine can in addition to be used individually also be used together with OTECHOS’ unique technology, the CRC compressor and the CRP pump. The CR technology is patented
