Summary Civilised Bank is an SME-focused challenger bank, based on the simple concepts of banking done properly. People and technology working together to help UK companies do business and people save money. The current fund-raising is to enable a quick start on the platform build and is to be drawn down only upon granting of their banking licence at which point significant and demonstrable value will have been created. The mezzanine debt will be repaid within a year from the proceeds of core capital raisings planned for the time of launch in early Q2 2017.
