Cloud is a social enterprise that produces cheaper, locally produced, organic and biodegradable sanitary pads to combat the rising period poverty in Lebanon. The lack of subsidization of sanitary pads in Lebanon has caused a significant increase in their prices leaving many females unable to secure their basic hygienic need. In the fight to overcome the taboos surrounding this subject in Lebanon, Cloud aims to give every girl her right to maintain her menstrual hygiene by offering cheaper, locally produced pads in supermarkets. By adopting a BOGO model and offering job opportunities to local women in need, they aim to fulfill our social mission towards reducing inequalities and helping the environment.
