The DHA concept brings together simple technologies with a small product footprint to grow fresh, low embodied energy crops for use in the domestic kitchen.

About

Our DHA stands apart from the many hydroponics systems currently in existence because it has been specifically considered for use within the confines and constraints of developed nation domestic food preparation and cooking environments. Its configuration includes very small footprint, whilst maximising crop yields. Through the use of this domestic appliance and its resulting hydroponic and natural 'home grown' crops, including spinach, kale and lettuce, users of the system are engaged in highly localised and fresh consumables who's cost, growth, maintenance, transpiration and potential for waste are optimised for sustainability. The originators consider the product an appliance, just as a refrigerator, a cooker, or a toaster.

Key Benefits

Local and sustainable food production, highly efficient with little waste, producing fresh crops at scale, and results in reduced supply chain embodied energy compared to existing infrastructure.
