Duodrive Limited has developed Duodrivetrain™, an Award-winning innovative contra-rotating propeller cartridge. The design allows for retrofitting the new propeller system to existing vessels with traditional line shaft drives with minimal modification to the hull, thus allowing for in-expensive upgrades to thousands of existing or new shaft-driven design boats <28m (100ft) in length. Drastically cutting fossil fuel use & air pollution for Marine Vessels, including larger unmanned surface vessels (USV) for the commercial and the Defence sectors, particularly in urban & port areas, the system solves alignment, vibration, wear & other maintenance issues whilst enabling vessel repair within hours. Incorporating Duodrive's latest & unique standardised TorqueFlange™ technology, strategic analysis and management of power, efficiency & propulsion thrust data-streams along with the more common mechanical, electrical & oceanographic monitoring is possible.
