ecoMAN-CART converts mixed, non-recyclable plastics into naphtha and SAF, preventing landfill and incineration, reducing emissions while creating a scalable, circular fuel pathwa

About

ecoMAN-CART is a breakthrough technology that converts non-recyclable plastics into naphtha and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Today, most of these plastics are either incinerated, landfilled, or exported, creating huge costs and environmental damage. At the same time, aviation is one of the hardest sectors to decarbonise, with limited feedstocks available for SAF production. ecoMAN-CART directly addresses both challenges: it turns a costly waste liability into a high-value, low-carbon fuel. Unlike traditional pyrolysis systems, our multi-stage fluidised-bed reactor and catalytic depolymerisation technology deliver stable, aviation-grade hydrocarbons at scale. This makes ecoMAN-CART a truly circular solution, helping businesses cut disposal costs while generating additional revenue and enabling a new, resilient supply of SAF.

Key Benefits

By adopting ecoMAN-CART, businesses can transform how they manage residual plastics. Instead of paying for landfill or incineration, waste operators and manufacturers can generate revenues by producing a high-value, circular feedstock. For the aviation sector, the technology unlocks a secure, scalable supply of SAF that is not dependent on scarce oils or residues. Environmental benefits are immediate: each tonne of plastic processed avoids around one tonne of CO₂ from incineration while displacing fossil kerosene(UKWIN, 2019; Hansard, 2021; Resource, 2019). Compared to conventional fossil jet fuel, SAF can cut lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80%, according to the International Air Transport Association (IATA, 2023) and UK Department for Transport (DfT, 2022), delivering immediate and measurable climate impact. For clients, this means lower operational costs, new revenue streams, compliance with tightening waste and emissions regulations, and a stronger sustainability profile with measurable carbon reductions.

Applications

ecoMAN-CART is designed for two core markets:

1. Waste management operators and local authorities, who can deploy modular units to convert mixed plastics into valuable hydrocarbons instead of paying for costly disposal.

2. Aviation fuel producers and airlines, who require reliable SAF feedstocks to meet Jet Zero mandates and net-zero commitments.

Beyond aviation, the naphtha output can also supply petrochemical industries as a virgin-equivalent input, further broadening the market potential.
