About

EnSmartEV is an AC and DC Networked Microgrid solution for EV charging.  EnSmartEV uses solar PV and battery storage to charge EV's at highest efficiency and lowest cost.  Further, EnSmartEV lowers grid connection costs as the system operates in a way that is de-coupled from the grid - meaning that an existing grid connection can be used to provide fast and rapid EV charging. EnSmartEV has two key elements.  A battery container (shipping container size) that contains the battery storage, inverter, grid connection and the smart control system that utilise our patented hardware and software (EnSmartEV has its own back office platform) to manage the system.   Separate EV charging posts that (depending upon requirements) can charge multiple EV's at between 20kW~120Kw.   As such, EnSmartEV provides an EV charging hub capable of charging multiple EV's simultaneously using the lowest cost form of electricity.  Either self generated solar PV electricity; Or low tariff - off peak, (overnight) electricity that has been stored in the battery storage and is then able to charge EV's at peak times. EnSmartEV can even support building loads to further reduce grid consumption and therefore overall electricity costs.   EnSmartEV supports CCS Combo2 EV charging.  There are two EnSmartEV systems in the UK and the system/technology is ready for commercial operations.
