A retrofit burner for conventional heat process plant that will combust glycerol and other low volatile fuels with a high water content.

About

MultiFuel Burners Limited (“MFB”) has a novel burner that provides a means of renewable heat generation without the need to invest in expensive new plant nor for any need to disrupt existing operations while new facilities are constructed.  MFB have demonstrated that the design of its burner can sustainably combust glycerol, low quality recovered diesel contaminated with water, vegetable oil and other low volatile or low calorific value fuels. The MFB burner is used in substitution of an existing gas or oil burner and provides the means to burn a range of alternative fuels in addition to the existing gas or oil fuels. The MFB burner has been shown to improve the combustion of existing conventional fuel, by reducing the CO by volume in operations and by reducing other VOC emissions.
