The ANT-73000 KVM over IP video encoder takes a PC desktop and streams it in full quality video over a LAN using under 20 MBits/sec. Unlike remote desktop applications the 73000 is able to stream the desktop in full quality and framerate making the remote monitor appear to be identical to original remote. Powered by a USB connection to the remote PC the USB acts as the means of sending Keyboard and Mouse data. The local PC only needs to run a small application to take control of the remote PC whilst to view the video screen VLC player or another player may be used.
