The invented magnetic inductor showed a 25.6% increase in the L factor and a 23.2% increase in the Q factor compared to air-core inductors.

About

Summary   A novel magnetic inductor structure utilizing the improved dynamic magnetic properties of exchange-coupled magnetic materials. The invented magnetic inductor minimizes the effect of magnetic loss of the magnetic materials on the inductor’s electrical characteristics. Exchange-coupled two-phase hard and soft magnetic composites combine the high magnetization of the soft phase and the large coercivity of the hard phase, thereby improving the maximum energy product over the pure hard magnet.
