About

When it comes to air quality, there is often a debate of if the air quality of an indoor space is environmentally friendly and/or safe. To ensure the air quality of indoor locations are shared with individuals in the location, a new technology has been developed by researchers at Worcester Polytechnic Institute that measures the air quality of an indoor space. Once the device measures the air quality, the data is ranked by system developed from the EEA, US EPA and Hong Kong IAQ Objectives. The results are then available on a website designed for the device and can be easily adapted into a mobile application. The device can be easily installed onto new or existing buildings and can be set and left in the space. With a low cost, the new device will work for everything from small business to large indoor public places, such as a mall.
