It’s a web-based chat service which consults with workers to establish their COVID-19 risk and encapsulates this into a redacted report for line managers and a more detailed report for Occupational Health / HR. The tool supports workers returning to work, and existing team members who are potentially more at risk due to their race and ethnicity, age, weight, underlying health condition, disability, or pregnancy. The tool determines whether workers should be shielded, referred for a health assessment, or cleared for working in various work settings. The tool has been approved by a panel of clinicians at NNUH and was designed in collaboration with Dr Robert Hardman, a leading consultant in occupational medicine. It's highly configurable and can be deployed in just a few days. The tool is based on an Intelligent Automation platform called Rainbird which enables human knowledge to be scaled rapidly. It is also very quick and safe to update as more is learnt about COVID and the risk model changes. When Rainbird makes a report, it is fully auditable.
