Sensors for measuring CO2, Temperature and Humidity powered by indoor light using advanced and patented energy harvesters. Battery free and sustainable.

About

We have developed the world leading solar energy harvester that can alleviate the need for batteries in a number of applications including sensors, trackers, wearables etc. The solar energy harvester is combined with low power electronics offering optimum performance. The sensors can be integrated into a Building Management System to enable control of the internal environment. We can sense and monitor temperature, CO2, Relative Humidity (RH), light level, sound level, magnetic (open/close), movement (accelerometer) and proximity (PIR).

Key Benefits

Autonomous sensors that can offer environmental benefits for building management systems, no need for batteries or hard wiring offering versatility. The technology is patented and commercially available.

Applications

The sensors have broad application in building management systems, with an accelerometer as a tracker for locating valuable assets (e.g. portable hospital equipment, animal tracking, goods in transit), for monitoring equipment such as food refrigerators, in smart agriculture to monitor growing conditions. Our expertise in ultra-low power electronics combined with our patented solar energy harvester can offer value in a range of applications and sectors.
