The Rockma GPM+ system is retro fitted to a drill rig, this system will typically use various sensors and positioning techniques to determine real time rock properties and fractures including water intrusion if water is used as a flushing media. The rig that is fitted with GPM+ will continue to drill as normal with no change needed to drill with the system, as the rig performs its daily drilling duties the Rockma system collects all the parameters off the rig and interprets the raw data into rock properties. Having the rock properties available instantly can give the production the edge when deciding whether to blast or dig out the ore. Knowing the rock properties also can assist with determining the ore boundary and what fractures and formations are present in the strata.
