MachineMax provides an equipment management platform for off-highway heavy equipment users to maximise the efficiency of every machine in their fleet.

About

The MachineMax approach ensures engine data collected from heavy equipment, can be communicated in real-time to technical teams and management. Focused on learning-based outcomes; we specialise in building secure and cutting-edge products that solve daily challenges and improve industry practice. MachineMax offers an intuitive digital platform to consolidate all machine data, providing a wireless smart sensor for those machines which aren’t already connected (by OEM or third party sensors). The sensor measures machine vibrations and uses artificial intelligence to interpret the machine utilisation based on its unique vibratory signature. The MachineMax sensor is wireless and is fixed to the outside of machines with military grade magnets. So it's on the machine and sending data in less than a minute and unlike standard wired solutions there are no concerns about the machine's warranty or rental contracts due to invasive installation. Cloud computing is then used to deliver real-time data and analysis to operators and site managers with an interface that can help them to optimise their fleet operations and preventative maintenance programmes. Alternatively the data can be fed via API to existing control systems. The system aims to show management, quickly and simply, which of there machines are idling the most, and where the machines are when they are idling. With this information they can focus on reducing engine idling. On average reducing idling by 1hr a day, per machine can reduce carbon output by 6.67 tonnes in a year – That’s the equivalent to taking two average UK diesel cars off the road for an entire year.

Key Benefits

Reduce engine idling on mobile heavy equipment, increase productivity and reduce costs and CO2 emissions. On average it's possible to save $50,000 per machine by reducing from typical idling rates of 40% to optimal rates of 20%.

Applications

Mobile heavy equipment monitoring - mainly in the mining, quarrying, cement and construction sectors.
