About

Summary: New generation tetrahertz (THz) source based on a photoconductive antenna that can be integrated with the ultrafast femto-second laser. The device is based on a plasmonic nanoantenna that enhances the output power by two orders of magnitude when comparing current technology. The device is compact, robust, user-friendly and based on a semiconductor structure, Gallium Nitride, which was developed at the inventor’s laboratory.
