We have worked on a number of domain specific image classifier model projects. For each, we needed to construct data curation pipelines and workflows to allow for the creation of a reference data set and a test data set, then the ability to have images pre-processed through cropping, key 'tile' selection, white and color balancing, and then through some feature creation image analysis scripts that were domain specific to form the feature set for ML classifier models. We then needed to create tile match/search algorithms, difference algorithms, and ultimately couple the model to parameter tuning procedures and MLops pipelines to properly tune the models. With that our model outputs then needed to be presented to human operators for human-in-the-loop validations. From our work in these custom domain classifier projects we have solved many of the costly and time consuming technology challenges and can leverage them for your needs to greatly decrease the time to value of your custom image classifier projects.
