About
The innovator uses bespoke configurations of established machine technology processes to produce packaging from recycled and sustainable certified virgin cellulose fibers. The process enables the product to behave in many respects like plastic, whilst being sustainable and fully home compostable. A unique bio-polymer coating is applied to the surface of the packaging to provide a food-safe barrier over a range of temperatures and pressures. The technology enables fast and low-cost production of eco-packaging products, facilitating easy scaling of the technology. The full machine process technology is based on proprietary intellectual property, trade secrets and exclusive global licenses and rights, following six years of research and development in its technology. Legal protections include but are not limited to: i. unique molder fiber compositions and processes, ii. liquid barrier spray gun application technology for applying bio-coating to products.
