We have launched a global smartphone app called the 'CNZ Eco-Forum' to showcase daily insights on what organisations are doing to achieve actual net zero outcomes.

About

In our experience, the first step in hoping to achieve any transformation to achieve net zero is to have EVERYONE in the organisation aligned to this mission. To address this challenge, I’ve recently co-founded a global net zero insights and education smartphone app called the ‘CNZ Eco-Forum’. This is in partnership with www.companiesfornetzero.com (that I’m a shareholder in, and on their Advisory Board). The reason for creating the CNZ Eco-Forum App is to bring on demand, easily accessible, highly summarised and curated daily news on what companies are doing to practically achieve net zero. This gives everyone benchmarks on what they could also be doing, knowing someone else has done this already (so de-risking this for them). We deliver this as eco-articles (with summarised bullet points), then enhanced with short eco-vlog videos and access to training presentations. The goal is for everyone to have an easy 3-5 minutes a day to access our micro-content in their own time, making it very accessible and engaging. Here is a short presentation all about our App: https://cnzapp.com/CNZ-App-Intro Beyond, we are going to share a global ecosystem of well-established and proven personal sustainability products for individuals to adopt into their lifestyles. This includes clothing made out of recycled plastic and cotton: www.dgrade.com as an example. This includes encouraging more recycling with solutions like this that we also offer: https://sales.trovrapp.com/site-owners-at

Key Benefits

By creating our App, our mission is to support every company to help transform ALL their staff into net zero ambassadors. The model of delivery is all behavioural science inspired to offer on-demand micro-content that drives enhanced engagement and motivation to engage with our App. We feel that if an entire organisation learns easily about why net zero is important and sees what is possible from others, then they can all get behind any declared missions by their organisation to achieve net zero. Else we have experienced already that companies are full of inertia and risk adversity, as evidenced by DWS (formerly part of Deutsche Bank) losing their CEO recently and having German police in their offices because of accused ESG misleading (greenwashing). Likewise, a number of US banks are facing SEC fines for similar accusations.

Applications

It's an easily downloaded smartphone app that is very user friendly and engaging. Our target market is every employee in every company globally to have access, as this will ensure we achieve an accelerated journey to net zero globally.
