The conventional gearbox cannot keep the motor running at its speed of maximum efficiency and lower pollution. We isolates the speed of the motor from the industrial process.
This is a mechanical transmission. We combined a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with a differential. Both of them are already used in cars. We only combined them.
The result is that the speed of the motor does not vary with the speed required by the user.
Applied to a car, our transmission will keep the motor running at its speed of maximum efficiency and lower pollution. No need to switch gears. Possibility to use regenerative braking. Much cheaper to build.
