Climate change is the biggest problem of our time. Our mission is to empower users to fight climate change through education and supporting sustained behavioural change.

About

We have developed the Pawprint App; the technology uses behavioural change science and gamification techniques, combined with Pawprint's personal carbon footprint calculator, and channels these elements into a lifestyle modelling platform that creates personalised tips and challenges. We will support users on their journey to a low-carbon lifestyle in a fun and sociable way. We will provide easy to digest tips and challenges for measuring and motivating continuous improvement in an individual's footprint. Pawprint are also developing a commercial version of the app 'Pawprint for Business', which will be licensed out to large organisations who want to reduce the collective carbon footprint of the organisation / employees.

Key Benefits

B2C: Nobody has built a community to accelerate collective change on this level in the past. Combining accurate carbon footprint data, lifestyle data, local business information and low-carbon challenges has the potential to power a massively impactful change and could change the narrative around the carbon conversation as more users become educated and empowered. Similar market offerings have a high focus on offsetting. Our focus is on behavioural change science applied through gamified- apps. Similar concepts (e.g. Strava/Calm/Headspace) have proven to change people's behaviour and to sustain it. B2B: Pawprint for Business will produce unique datasets and insights for private and public organisations; capturing footprint data; dashboard and analytics for improvements/performance publications (CSR-reporting). All reporting will be anonymised and will show trends and reductions over time.
